TEBUCONAZOLE 15% + ZINEB 57% WDG

TEBUCONAZOLE + ZINEB WDG Bottle
Systemic + Contact Fungicide

TEBUCONAZOLE 15% + ZINEB 57% WDG

A robust combination fungicide pairing a systemic triazole with multi-site dithiocarbamate chemistry. It provides comprehensive disease control through both foliar protection and seed treatment, effectively managing blights, smuts, mildews, and rots.

Target Disease
Smuts, Blights, Rots
Mode of Action
Ergosterol + Multi-site
Crops
Rice, Chilli, Potato
Active: Tebuconazole + Zineb Formulation: WDG (Water Dispersible Granule) Action: Systemic, Curative & Protective

Product Information

Mode of Action

Tebuconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase enzyme, providing systemic and curative activity. [Image of ergosterol biosynthesis inhibition mechanism] Zineb acts as a multi-site protectant, disrupting multiple fungal enzyme systems through thiol-reactive compounds. [Image of multi-site fungicide mode of action] This dual mechanism delivers both preventive surface protection and systemic internal control.

Target Diseases
  • Sheath Blight & False Smut
  • Dirty Panicle (Rice)
  • Powdery Mildew & Leaf Spot
  • Choanephora Blight & Anthracnose
  • Black Scurf (Seed Treatment)
  • Wilt & Root Rot (Seed Treatment)
Key Benefits

The WDG formulation is dust-free, easy to measure, and mixes uniformly in water. Suitable for both foliar spray and seed treatment applications.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage Method PHI (Days)
Paddy (Rice) Sheath Blight, False Smut, Dirty Panicle 1250 g/ha Foliar Spray (500L Water) 21
Chilli Powdery Mildew, Leaf Spot, Anthracnose, Choanephora Blight 1250 g/ha Foliar Spray (500L Water) 28
Potato Black Scurf 20 g / 100 kg seed Seed Treatment NA
Chickpea Wilt, Root Rot 4.0 g / kg seed* Seed Treatment NA
Dosage Note:
  • Foliar: 1250g per hectare (approx 2.5g/L).
  • Seed Treatment: Rates vary significantly (Potato: 20g/100kg vs Chickpea: 4g/kg). *Please verify the Chickpea rate on the product label as “4.0” likely refers to g/kg seed.
  • Application Instructions

    1. Foliar Application
Apply preventively or at the early stages of disease development. For Rice, timing is critical during tillering and panicle initiation stages to control False Smut and Sheath Blight.
    2. Seed Treatment
Mix the required quantity with a small amount of water to make a slurry. Coat seeds or tubers uniformly. Allow treated seeds to air dry in the shade before sowing. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

    Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Adhere to PHI for foliar applications: 21 days for Rice and 28 days for Chilli. No PHI applies for seed treatment uses.

Resistance Management: Combines Group 3 (Triazole) and Group M3 (Multi-site). The multi-site partner (Zineb) protects the systemic partner (Tebuconazole) from resistance development.
